Long Valley Holiday Decorating Ceremony Goes Drive Thru

Due to new COVID-19 restrictions, the Holiday Decorating Ceremony set for Saturday will be a little different.

LONG VALLEY, NJ - Due to new COVID-19 restrictions, the Holiday Decorating Ceremony set for Saturday will be a little different.

"We could not disappoint the kids as Santa is eager to see everyone," officials said in a statement. "That being said, we have decided to do a 'Drive-thru' meet and greet with Santa."

Those who want to drive by the big guy can drive by the Washington Township Recreation office, 50 Rock Road, from 4:40 p.m. through 6:30 p.m.

"Come and say hello to Santa as you briefly stop and receive a candy cane too, while continuing the drive through." officials said. "Santa Claus will be so delighted to see you because he has traveled very far to try and greet the children of Washington Township."
