Long Valley Placed Under Winter Storm Watch From Monday to Tuesday
According to the alert, Morris County should expect "heaving snow with blowing and drifting" and 6 to 16 inches of snow accumulations.

Long Valley has been placed under a Winter Storm Watch, which is in effect from Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning, as the National Weather Service says a βone of the largest snow storms of the winter will impact [the] area Monday into Tuesday.β
According to the alert, Morris County should expect βheavyΒ snow with blowing and driftingβ and 6 to 16 inches of snow accumulations.
The National Weather Services states that although βthere is still some uncertainty as to the track and intensity of a developing norβeaster later Monday, there is little doubt that snow will affect travel Monday and Tuesday.β

Snow will develop early Monday morning, slowing the morning commute, according to the NWS.
βThe much more important portion of this storm begins sometime Monday afternoon or eveningβ before winding down Tuesday.

The alert also warns of a βpotential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel.β
