Long Valley Resident, Grandmother Dies at 65

Stephanie Longo loved flowers, and enjoyed her children and grandchildren even more.

The Long Valley resident of 26 years died earlier this week at the age of 65.

Born in Jersey City and raised in Kearny, Longo moved to Long Valley in the late 1980s with her husband, Joseph, to raise a family.

Longo worked as a medical biller and coder for many years and enjoyed her lilies and edelweiss.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joseph; her children JoeLynn, Christopher, Dominico, and Gerard; and two grandchildren.

A Celebration of Stephanie’s Life will be held Sunday, Sept. 20 from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 7 to 9 p.m. at the William J. Leber Funeral Home on Furnace Road in Chester.

A 10:30 a.m. funeral mass will be held Tuesday, September 22 at St. Mark Parish in Long Valley.
