Long Valley Winning Gingerbread Creations On Display At 'Racks'

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Four gingerbread sculptures that took prizes during "Holiday Happenings" this past weekend, will stay on display through December at Racks Valley Boutique.

Racks Valley Boutique on 20 Schooleys Mountain Road is run by the Long Valley Junior Women’s Club, which organized the yearly contest and put out the call in November for gingerbread home creations by people of all ages.

The winners were picked, including the “People’s Choice” and they are:

Adult Category Winner - “Stained Glass Church” by Judy Ray

Ray’s Church also won the People’s Choice Award.

Children’s 7-12 Category Winner - “Hogwarts - The Great Hall” by Lulu Wacha Diaz

Children’s 12-17 Category Winner - “The Jolly Roger” by Lexi Bishop

Family Category Winner - “Frosty’s Funky Lodge” by The Sanfilippo Family

“We loved seeing all the creative entries and truly appreciate all the hard work that went into your amazing houses,” the Junior Women’s Club wrote on social media. “Already looking forward to next year.”
