Long Valley Woman, Animal Care Volunteer Dies at 56

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Doreen Scouras had a love for life and animals.

The Long Valley woman of more than 20 years died recently at the age of 56.

Scouras was an executive secretary with Alcatel-Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill prior to her retirement. She was also an active member of Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs and a volunteer with the Randolph Animal Shelter.

Scouras enjoyed attending classic car shows and visiting the Lead East Car Show in Parsippany annually.

She is survived by her husband, Harry, extended family members and four dogs.
