Long Valley Junior Women’s Club Awards $12K In Scholarships
Twelve deserving seniors were awarded the scholarship.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Long Valley Junior Women’s Club recently awarded several seniors from West Morris Central High School $12,000 in scholarships.
During the West Morris Central High School Senior Awards Night on May 29, representatives from the women’s club awarded 12 $1,000 scholarships to deserving seniors seeking to continue their education.
“The awards are based on commitment to community service, essays on the most meaningful volunteer experience and why it was important to them, financial need, leadership, school involvement, and academic achievement,” a statement read. “Congratulations to all of this year's deserving winners!”

The scholarships are funded by the club’s several events throughout the year, including a Daddy/Daughter dance, a Mother/Son Glow Bowl, and more.
