Man Falls 40 Feet From Long Valley Home's Roof, Flown To Hospital: Cops
Police found man unresponsive just before noon Wednesday.

LONG VALLEY – A man working on the roof of a home Wednesday morning fell some 40 feet to the ground, requiring a helicopter to fly him to a hospital, Lt. Doug Compton said.
Washington Township Police responded to a medical call just before noon Wednesday on Kings Highway for a report of a man who fell approximately 10 to 30 feet from a house roof, Compton said.
When police arrived they found the 40-year-old worker unresponsive and that he fell from a height of 40 feet, Compton said.

The man was taken by helicopter to Morristown Medical Center. His current status is unknown.
