Man Killed By Lawn Mower In North Jersey, Police Say
The 60-year-old man was found stuck under his lawnmower in a stream, police said.

BLAIRSTOWN, NJ — A Blairstown man was killed on Friday when he was run over by his lawn mower, Blairstown Police Capt. Scott Johnsen said.
Police were called to the Sandhill Road home Friday afternoon when a neighbor heard screaming. The woman told 911 she thought he was trapped under his lawn mower, Johnsen said. The 60-year-old man was found in a stream with the tractor-style lawn mower on top of him.
Firefighters lifted the lawn mower off, and police dragged the man out of the stream, Johnsen said. The man was not breathing or consciousness, and CPR was given at the scene and en route to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
