HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A McDonald's employee was injured when she was handed a burning dollar bill at the drive-thru over the weekend, police said. The employee was working at the Mountain Ave McDonald's Sunday night when a person came through the drive-thru and handed her a burnt dollar bill. She took the bill and then realized it wasn't just burnt, it was still smoldering, police say. The bill burnt the employee's palm, but she refused medical attention at the scene. Police said they'll continue to look into this, but no further information will be released at this point.
