Morris Co. Toddler Fighting Rare Brain Tumor
The little boy from Morris County, who just became a big brother, faces chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.

BUTLER, NJ β What was expected to be a blissfully happy time for one Butler family as they welcomed a new son has become a fight for their older child's life, a 2-year-old who has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer.
Theo Fredericks was taken to a local emergency room after a family doctor couldn't treat his vomiting, headaches and imbalance, "Team Theo" wrote on a fundraiser set up for the family. A CT scan and MRI showed a brain tumor.
Two days later, the tumor was removed and Theo was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer.

Now Theo, who just recently became an older brother, faces chemotherapy, hospital stays, and a stem cell transplant.
"[Parents] Karen and Vin need all the time and support possible to care for Theo. While they have an extremely supportive extended family in the northern New Jersey area, they will both need to take unpaid time off from their jobs during the treatment and recovery process," the team wrote in a GoFundMe page.

"Their situation is urgent, and we ask anyone who can spare any amount to please consider donating to the Fredericks as they give Theo all of their love and support to get healthy. We do not want financial stress to add to their already extremely difficult circumstances," they added.
Donations will be used for medical bills and living expenses. Anything left over will be donated to charity, the team said.
They hope to raise $50,000. So far, $12,195 in donations has been collected. You can click here to donate.
