Narcan Training Being Offered By Washington Twp Police

LONG VALLEY, NJ β€” Learn about Narcan and opioids at an upcoming training offered in Washington Township.

The presentation will be given by the Washington Township Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Department, CARES, and Hope One. Attendees will learn more about the opioid overdose reversal drug, Narcan, including how to use it.

Washington Township has seen five overdose deaths, and ten overdose reversals using Narcan in the past two years, police said, calling information and knowledge "the key."
