Current board members Jason Koestenblatt and Stephanie Wilson, whose terms all expire at the end of the year, also did not file for re-election.

At the Dec. 12 Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Peter Turnamian thanked the departing members of the board for their years of service to the district.

"On behalf of our entire administration and staff, we'd like to thank them for all that they have done to help move our schools forward," Turnamian said.

Wilson, Mucerino and Koestenblatt were all presented with a plaque commemorating their time on the board as a parting gift.

"I'm proud of the work we've done with our fellow board members over the past three years; I thank you for that. I wish the future board the best of luck in its continued efforts to improve our district for our learners and their families," Mucerino said.

Oldmixon, Vieira and Ryan, who ran together on the "Excellence in Education" ticket, have since shared a celebratory message with the community.

"John, Isabel and Jennifer are very grateful for everyone who helped get us across the finish line. We also want to thank the Baker, McConnell and Wengel slate for a hard-fought campaign and appreciate their efforts. We look forward to working with the school district come January," they said.

The meeting will be open to the public and is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Long Valley Middle School Performing Arts Center.

The official agenda for the meeting has not yet been posted. All other Board of Education agendas can be found here.
