New Washington Twp. Teacher Contract Has Three Years of 2.5% Pay Raises

More professional development time for educators built in to new pact.

It took more than a year of negotiations, but the Washington Township Schools Board of Education and Teacher’s Association have come to terms on a three-year contract.

The school board formally approved the pact at a special meeting in November with both sides agreeing on final terms.

Those terms are retroactive to July 1, 2014, the first day without a new contract, and include three consecutive years of raises.
