2 Injured In Long Valley Shooting: Prosecutor
Information was scarce at 3:50 p.m., but there is no danger to the community, police said.

LONG VALLEY, NJ β Two people were injured in a Long Valley shooting, including one person who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said Wednesday night.
The shooting happened at 411 West Mill Road around 2:15 p.m. Police took one person into custody, and found one individual with multiple gun shot wounds. Another person was also injured, but officials did not describe those injuries.
One of the victims was taken to the hospital, Mayor Matt Murello said. "I have spoken to Chief Almer and the area is safe, but a police presence will be in the area until the investigation is completed. There is no additional information at this point and all updates will follow from the WTPD," Murello said.

Officials at the Prosecutor's Office also declined to provide more information Wednesday night. "At this time, the incident remains under investigation and no further information will be released at this time. There is no ongoing threat to the public," Knapp said.
Officials did not provide the names of anyone involved in the incident as of Wednesday night. A prestigious horseback riding business is located at 411 West Mill Road.
