Power Outage Affecting Up To 1,500 In Long Valley Thursday

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Up to 1,500 JCP&L customers are without power in Long Valley Thursday morning, the Office of Emergency Management said.

The power outages are mostly in the Schooley's Mountain area of town, officials said. The township is estimated between 501 and 1,500 customers are affected; the JCP&L website is showing just over 900 affected customers.

Power is expected to be back on by noon. It's not clear what is causing the outage.
