Santa Claus Is Really Coming To Town In Long Valley, Dec. 18
Santa is expected to visit for photo ops and other fun, with kids able to write a letter to him before he makes his appearance.
LONG VALLEY, NJ β Santa is planning to swing by to Long Valley before Rudolph and the reindeer team take him around the world to make deliveries on Christmas Eve.
Kids can meet Old Saint Nick at the Washington Township Senior Center on 35 East Springtown Road on Saturday, Dec. 18 between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Families are invited to take pictures with their own cameras and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate sent by Mrs. Claus, who plans to stay back at the North Pole, to keep her eye on the elves.

Washington Township Mayor Matt Murello reported that Washington Township Recreation Department has a red drop box at 50 Rock Road for letters to Santa, which can be left in the box the days before his arrival.

Letters should include a return address so Santa can write back to children who have written to him.
Santa is also accepting hand-delivered letters when kids visit him on Dec. 18.
Before Santaβs visit, thereβs some other fun happening that day at Rock Spring Park on East Springtown Road, beginning at 4 p.m. At the park, the 2021 Holiday Home Decorating Contest winners are going to be announced. At the park under and around its pavilion, Washington Townshipβs Recreation Department is planning on a campfire, carolers and a roaming balloonist, among the fun, beginning at 4 p.m.
