A Long Valley house party ended with a complaint summons for a homeowner and several juveniles being hospitalized with severe intoxication over the weekend, Washington Township Police Lt. Doug Compton said.
On Dec. 5 at 8:41 p.m., Officers Kevin Barnes and Robert Brobst, along with Sgt. Michael Hade responded to a home on William Way for a report of a party which was allegedly providing alcoholic beverages to juveniles, Compton said.
When officers arrived they found several juveniles walking in the roadway and in the front yard of the residence, and appeared to be intoxicated, Compton said.

Names of those involved were not released because they are minors. Not all who were attending the party were drinking alcohol.
The homeowner, Gregory Sansome, 56, was issued a complaint summons for making his property available for the purpose of drinking alcohol by underage persons.
Sansome was given a mandatory court date to appear in Washington Township Municipal Court.
