Shopper Tried Taking $3,500 Of Vacuums From Target on Christmas Eve: Cops
Oxford man jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – It wasn’t a very Merry Christmas for one Target shopper, who landed himself in jail Dec. 24 for allegedly trying to steal thousands of dollars worth of vacuums, Lt. Doug Compton said.
Officer Kevin Barnes responded to the Target Department Store on Route 46 at 11 a.m. on Christmas Eve for a shoplifting complaint, Compton said. Barnes met with Target’s security team for further investigation and found William Bundy, IV, 33, of Oxford, attempting to flee the store with stolen merchandise, Compton said.
Bundy was placed under arrest and taken to Washington Township Police Headquarters, where he received a criminal complaint for shoplifting approximately $3,500 worth of Dyson vacuums from the store, Compton said.

Bundy was lodged in Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.
