'Sundays At The Museum' To Resume With Civil War Portrayal In Long Valley

Inaugural event was postponed due to January blizzard.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – If at first you don’t succeed, curse the weather, then try again.

The Washington Township Historical Society’s first attempt at the launch of its new series Sundays At The Museum turned into shovels on the sidewalk as a blizzard blew into town.

The January session was postponed, but the group is back and ready to go – Mother Nature depending – with a Feb. 28 event titled β€œInside The Civil War With New Jersey’s 33rd Regiment.”
