Underage Drunk Driver Crashed Car, Washington Police Say

LONG VALLEY, NJ — An accused drunk driver was arrested after crashing his car into the woods, Washington Township police said.

Christopher Waller, 20, from Long Valley, was arrested Wednesday evening after the crash, police said. Waller is accused of driving off of Naughright Road near Fawnridge Road and crashing into the woods, police said.

Police say Waller as intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was arrested and taken to Washington Township headquarters, where he was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving while intoxicated underage and leaving the scene of an accident.

He was released to a sober adult pending a court hearing, police said.
