Valentine's Day Fundraiser Supports Long Valley First Aid Squad

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A Valentine’s Day rose pre-sale event is happening online to benefit Long Valley First Aid Squad's Auxiliary. This year marks the auxiliary's fourth annual Valentine's Day rose sale.
The virtual store is currently taking pre-orders, with roses from a “local Morris County florist,” according to the auxiliary, which is hosting the event.
Pre-ordered roses can be picked up in person, with walk-in bouquets also available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis at the squad building, 70 E. Mill Road, on Feb. 12, 13 and 14.

The following are pickup times.
- Feb. 12 between 11 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- Feb. 13 between 11 a.m and 7 p.m.
- Feb. 14 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
A single rose costs $8, and bouquets cost between $35 and $45. The Chocolate Shoppe in Long Valley is also providing a box of chocolates to the shop. The chocolate box is a six-piece assortment of chocolate.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Long Valley First Aid Squad (LVFAS) in its mission to serve Washington Township residents and neighboring communities. The First Aid Squad is an all-volunteer organization, incorporated in Long Valley in 1957.
The auxiliary supports the squad through fundraising efforts year-round.
The Long Valley First Aid Squad has been providing all-volunteer service 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the past 60 years. Its volunteers provide emergency medical care, vehicle and technical rescue, and other services.
