Washington Township: Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off Facility In Morris County

The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) operates a year-round

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility in an effort to make managing

HHW more convenient for Morris County residents and businesses. 

The HHW facility is located at the Mt. Olive transfer station; 168 Gold Mine Road, Flanders, NJ.

The HHW facility is open on most Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings.

Morris County residents can drop off items FREE of charge by appointment only.

Eligible businesses will be charged a $1.25/lb. disposal fee.
