Washington Township Primary Results: GOP, Democrat

While the Democratic primary is uncontested, the Republicans have 3 candidates running for 2 spots on the ballot. Get results here.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Primary Election Day is here in Washington Township, and the results are in for a contested race on the Republican side.

Three Republicans ran for two spots on the ticket; two Democrats ran for two spots. Those elected in the primary will face off in the November general election for two three-year terms.

The following Republicans ran for the two nominations, with winners in bold:

  • John Tyler Oborn: 686
  • Greg Franklin Forsbrey R (incumbent): 730

Current committeeman James LiaBraaten did not file for reelection; his term expires at the end of the year.
