Woman Faces DWI Charges In Long Valley After Hitting Car Twice

The unidentified woman from Hopatcong hit the other car's passenger door, as both were traveling westbound on Route 46.

LONG VALLEY, NJ β€” A woman whose vehicle was towed to the Washington Township Police Department’s impound yard after she hit another car twice while reportedly driving under the influence, has been charged.

The Washington Township Police Department announced on Thursday charges have been filed against an unnamed Hopatcong woman, who hit the passenger side of another car two times at the East Avenue intersection, as both cars were driving westbound on Route 46.

Police didn’t indicate if occupants in either vehicle were injured in the accident, which happened on July 6 at about 7:55 p.m.

The woman was released and is now awaiting her court appearance, the police department said.
