• Lower Police Extend 'No-Shave' to Help Local Family (capemaycountyherald.com) — Lower Township police officers are extending their “No-Shave November” fundraiser through December to support Kaitlin McBride, a 39-year-old Lower Township mother recently diagnosed with stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer. Residents can donate through Dec. 31 by check to the Lower Township Officer’s Association or directly via Venmo, with all funds going to help the McBride family.

• Lawsuit Arising From Scrapped Dune Project Is Dropped (capemaycountyherald.com) — A lawsuit tied to the now-canceled Five-Mile Dune beach protection project has been dropped after the Army Corps scrapped the $54 million plan involving North Wildwood, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and Lower Township. With the project off the table, North Wildwood’s case against Wildwood Crest became moot, though future beach replenishment decisions will still affect the area’s shoreline communities.
