Act of Kindness: Bank Patron Gets Back Missing $300 After Madison Resident Brings Cash To PD

A Madison resident found $300 in an ATM and brought it to police headquarters. Madison PD and the bank got the money back to the patron.

MADISON, N.J.– The Madison Police Department is expressing appreciation for a resident who found $300 in an ATM machine at a borough bank and brought the cash to headquarters.

"With the help of the bank we were able to determine who the owner was and the money was returned to the owner," said a statement from MPD. "The Madison Police Department would like to express their sincere

appreciation to the resident’s act of kindness."
