Bottle Hill Day Returns To Madison Borough This Fall
The beloved annual street fair returns this year and is scheduled for Oct. 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Madison.

MADISON, NJ — This fall, Madison residents can look forward to the return of the beloved annual street fair, as well as plenty of activities at Bottle Hill Day in Madison.
Over the last three decades, the festival has evolved from a program to promote the business district into a family, entertainment, and community celebration that draws between 10,000 and 20,000 people to the heart of Madison each fall.
According to the Madison website, the name derives from Madison's original establishment of the village known as "Bottle Hill" in 1715. Bottle Hill Day was established in 1974 in order to promote the business district.

The event is free and open to the public.
This premier street festival will be celebrating its 47th anniversary this year. Since its inception in 1974 by Mayor Elizabeth Baumgartner, this event has grown year after year. The goal is to encourage economic growth and business development so that Madison's downtown can continue to thrive in the future, officials said.
The Downtown Development Commission sponsors and organizes Bottle Hill Day (DDC). The DDC has been promoting business and economic development in Madison's Central Business District since its inception in 1981. The Madison Farmers Market, Taste of Madison, and May Day in Madison are also sponsored or supported by the DDC.
