Cops: Drunk Driver Hits Car on Madison Ave.
Chatham woman allegedly struck vehicle in front of her on Sunday, police said.
A 34-year-old Chatham woman was charged with DUI on Sunday after she allegedly struck a car in front of her at Madison Avenue and Danforth Road, authorities said.
Maria Bennani was arrested at 12:55 a.m. by Patrolman Paul Papamarkos, who responded to the accident, according to a news release.
Papamarkos determined Bennani was driving under the influence of alcohol following a field investigation, according to police.

Bennani was processed at police headquarters and released to a friend pending a court appearance, police said.
Police said no one was injured in the accident.
