Milestone Coincides with Nonprofit’s Annual Evening of Empowerment

MADISON, N.J. (Oct. 14, 2025) – It was a September of milestones for Dress for Success Northern New Jersey – 10 Counties (DFSNNJ), a 501(c)(3) organization which provides no-fee workforce development services to unemployed and under-employed women. The Morris-County based nonprofit has already helped more than 1,200 clients this year. The milestone coincides with its recent Annual Evening of Empowerment, which raised over $50,000 thanks to its generous corporate sponsors, donors and close to 100 attendees.

Established more than 25 years ago, DFSNNJ provides one-on-one and group coaching and mentoring, professional attire services, upskilling and reskilling, live mock interviews and resume writing assistance, and networking opportunities for its clients. DFSNNJ’s workforce development programs adapt to industry shifts and workplace trends, ensuring women have the tools they need to succeed, no matter what obstacles they face.

“Our clients want to get back to work and succeed for themselves and their families,” said DFSNNJ’s Loraimy Kendall, Executive Director. “DFSNNJ helps make that goal a reality by providing life-changing career readiness and development services – all free of charge to the women we serve. Throughout the year, we are grateful for the support of our corporate sponsors, donors, volunteers and everyone in our DFSNNJ community. We couldn’t do what we do without them.”

Evening of Empowerment Featured Client Recognitions, ADP Honor and More

Guests enjoyed an evening of inspiration, networking and celebration, all while contributing to a worthy cause. Held at the Blue Rose in Caldwell, the fundraiser featured client recognitions and the presentation of DFSNNJ’s first-ever Empowerment Award to long-time supporter ADP. In addition, celebrity stylist Soneca Guadara shared inspiring words and her signature style confidence advice.
