Elf on the Shelf: Where Does Holiday Hider Show Up in Your Home? Send Us Your Snapshots
From the fridge to the front steps, this tricky trinket finds himself in clever places. Where is your Elf today? Show us your photos.
Decorations, gifts, and shopping, all while trying to remain joyous during the holiday season. It’s no easy task.
In recent years, parents have begun a new tradition, one that sometimes becomes the hardest of them all in December: Hiding Elf on the Shelf.
Based on a 2005 book, The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition, parents plant a miniature figurine – named by the family – around the house in a different location every day between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The elf, as the story goes, is there to keep an eye on the children and if they’re naughty or nice.
