Firefighter's Wife Charged With Embezzling Conference Funds

The wife of a volunteer Madison firefighter has been charged with embezzling more than $11,000 from the fire department's members over several years, police said Tuesday.

Unofficial primary election results Tuesday night showed Councilman Robert Catalanello and Board of Education Vice President Pat Rowe winning the Republican nominations to two Borough Council seats, coming out ahead of three other candidates in the GOP primary.

They'll be on the ballot in November with Democratic nominees Jeff Gertler and Maureen Byrne, who ran unopposed for their party's nomination.
