Fairleigh Dickinson Offers Free Admission to Madison, Florham Park Residents

Residents of Madison and Florham Park can attend Fairleigh Dickinson University's basketball double header free of charge.

Fairleigh Dickinson is offering residents of Madison and Florham Park free admission to a basketball double header this Wednesday, Feb. 11.

The double header at the university’s Ferguson Recreation Center will feature FDU’s men’s and women’s basketball teams taking on Manhattanville College, according to The Daily Record.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with family-friendly activities, including a photo booth, magician, cotton candy machine and face painting, The Daily Record said.

The first game tips off at 6 p.m. when the defending NCAA Division III National Champion Fairleigh Dickinson University women’s team takes on Manhattanville, The Daily Record said. The men’s game tips off following the women’s game at 8 p.m., also against Manhattanville.

Fairleigh Dickinson University asks residents who plan on attending to register on the university’s website prior to Hometown Night. Those who register in advance will received a confirmation email, which will make them eligible for complimentary food and refreshments during the game, according to The Daily Record.
