Summer Seminar Series: The 29th Summer Seminar Series at the Madison Public Library continues with two more lectures this week: one at 2 p.m. Monday discussing changes along the Jersey shore after Superstorm Sandy, and another at 10:30 a.m. Thursday on the future of unions. The lectures are free and open to the public.

Play Reading Series: The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey launches its 2013 Lend Us Your Ears reading series with "Coriolanus," William Shakespeare’s play about the nature of politics and politicians. The reading, which features a prestigious cast of Shakespeare Theatre company members and guest artists, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at the Theatre's Main Stage, the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Ave.

Raw Foods Made Easy: Healthy eating specialist Kristine Nicholson will talk about the benefits of eating raw foods and teach how to make sauces and dressings at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Whole Foods Market. Registration required.

Buy Fresh/Give Fresh: The Madison Farmers Market in partnership with Drew University has arranged for market shoppers to be able to donate fresh produce from the market to a local soup kitchen on the third Thursday of each month, including this Thursday. The market is open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Green Village Road off Main Street.

Geraldine:
Look out for a story about a successful team effort that raised over $150,000 to buy back Madison's antique fire truck "Geraldine" after the 1921 engine returned to borough on loan following a roundabout journey.

Outdoor Theater:
Under-the-stars performances of William Shakespeare's comedy "As You Like It" continue through July 28 at the amphitheater on the campus of the College of Saint Elizabeth. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey performances are Tuesdays through Sundays at 8:15 p.m., with additional twilight shows on Sundays at 4:30 p.m. Tickets range from $28 to $33 for adults; tickets for ages 18 and under and students are $15.
