MADISON, NJ — It's National Dog Month, and while many folks have four-legged pals to share their homes, Patch is kicking off an effort we hope you'll join: We want to help 1,000 dogs in New Jersey and Pennsylvania find their forever homes.

As part of that effort, we will be highlighting dogs that currently are waiting in shelters for someone to adopt them.

Bryndee is one of those dogs. She is at the Saint Hubert's Animal Welfare Center at 575 Woodland Ave.

According to Saint Hubert's, Bryndee is a two-year-old pit bull/terrier and weighs about 47 pounds.

"I'm an affectionate, gorgeous love bug. I love playtime, cuddles and pets! I'm a true pocket pittie, and I belong in your lap, wagging my tail and giving you kisses. I want you all to myself, so I would like to be an only pet, and am a little too bouncy for young children.," the shelter description says.
