ICYMI: Madison Residents Complete Boston Marathon

Four Madison Borough residents completed the 119th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 20.

Harry Hamilton, 54; Clovis Henrique Ribeiro, 41; Susan Bessin, 49; and Kurt Schleck, 40, all completed the 26.2 mile course through the Boston streets.

More than 30,000 people were expected to participate in the marathon, according to the Boston Globe. About one million spectators were also expected.

According to the 2015 Boston Marathon results, their times include:

• Hamilton completed the marathon with an official time of 3 hours, 22 minutes and 31 seconds. His half marathon time was recorded at 1 hour, 37 minutes and 58 seconds. He finished 534th in the 50-54 year old division.
• Ribeiro finished the 26.2 mile course with an official time of 3 hours, 38 minutes and 11 seconds. His half marathon was clocked at 1 hour, 35 minutes and 37 seconds.
• Bessin completed the course with an official time of 3 hours, 41 minutes even. Her half marathon was clocked at 1 hour, 51 minutes and 7 seconds. She finished 391st in the 45-49 year old division.
• Schleck finished the marathon with an official time of 3 hours, 42 minutes and 2 seconds. His half marathon time was recorded at 1 hour, 49 minutes and 41 seconds.
