Christmas Eve Crash With Truck Kills NJ Motorcyclist, Police Say

The 22-year-old Hammonton man collided with a car turning left on a South Jersey highway, flinging him from the motorcycle, police said.

FOLSOM BOROUGH, NJ — A Hammonton motorcyclist was killed in a crash on a South Jersey highway Christmas Eve, authorities said.

Logan Ingemi, 22, was heading north on Route 73 in Folsom Borough around 5 p.m. on Dec. 24, Trooper Christopher Postorino told Patch. Meanwhile, a 40-year-old Marlton man was driving south on the highway in an Audi, Postorino said.

The Marlton man turned left and when he entered the northbound lane, Ingemi's motorcycle crashed into the Audi, Postorino said. Ingemi was flung from the motorcycle as a result.

The motorcycle then crashed into a Toyota pickup truck that was behind the Audi, Postorino said.

Ingemi was killed in the collision. The Marlton man and the two passengers inside of the pickup truck received minor injuries, Postorino said.

The crash remains under investigation.
