Ladies Night Out Returns to Downtown Madison
Event will be held Thursday, May 8 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Ladies Night Out is coming to downtown Madison on Thursday, May 8.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. at Doodlebugz 55 Main St. Wine and cheese will be offered by Gary's Wine & Marketplace.
The evening of shopping will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The first 125 registrants will receive a gift bag filled with items donated by the local businesses and all participants can enter a raffle to win two different baskets. The drawing for the baskets will be held at 8:30 p.m. at Doodlebugz. The baskets will be displayed at registration.
"Our Madison businesses are customer friendly and service oriented. Many are preparing special in-store events, demonstrations, or special savings. There is certain to be good cheer and lots of hospitality," Chamber Executive Director Karen Meyer said.
Doodlebugz will hold "Kids Night Out" during the event to give those with children a babysitting option. Babysitting will be offered from 5:30 to 8 p.m., $20 per child. For reservations, contact Doodlebugz at 973-410-0102.
Madison PhotoPlus, 40 Main St. will welcome Canon U.S.A. to Madison's Ladies' Night Out.
Photographers from Canon and Madison PhotoPlus staff will photograph every lady visiting Madison PhotoPlus that evening between 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Each visitor will receive a free custom printed 13-by-19 photo of themselves.
The new Canon PIXMA PRO 100 wireless printer, valued at $500, will be on sale during the event for less than $100 after rebates.

"Our businesses are putting their best foot forward and rolling out the red carpet for this special annual event," said John Morris, owner of Stewart Morris, Awards, Gifts & Flags and vice president of the Madison Chamber of Commerce.
A special DJ has been arranged by the Downtown Development Commission to entertain during the event in front of the Drip at 34 Main St.
