Susan Packie and Jeannie Kosakowski, co-chairwomen, have selected 20 local artisans and exhibitors who will sell classic gift and handmade items for men, women and children just in time for holiday shopping.
“The event will be the club’s largest fundraiser this year devoted to providing operating money for the activities of the Madison Community House,” said Packie who is also the club’s Ways and Means Chairwoman.

“Clothing, jewelry, accessories, scarves, handbags, soaps, bone china gift sets, party supplies, glass ornaments, paperweights, doll clothes, hand-crafted chocolates, and organic fair trade items are just some of the offerings from the vendors,” added Kosakowski.
“This year the restaurant fund-raising event will offer fewer certificates, but of greater value,” said Mary Jane Burns. Judi Sopko promises some real finds in “Members’ Treasures” among the large selection of new gift items donated by club members.
For holiday entertaining, La Patisserie will sell cookies, pies and loaf breads made by club members while Le Bistro will serve lunch for $15 made by the club’s catering department from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm each day. Doris Costello and Diana Krug are accepting two homemade items from each member while past presidents, Bernie Grohol and Carolyn Stiner are in charge of catering.
“A new addition to Le Bazar de Noel is The Pet Corner. ”Pet lovers will have the opportunity to find special holiday gifts for their dog or cat,” said Judy Elzer. Children’s toys will also be available for purchase, she added.
