Lifelong Madison Resident Petronilla 'Pat' Murrin Dies at 82
Murrin was a former telephone operator with NJ Bell in Morristown for many years before retiring.

MADISON, NJ - Obituary provided by Madison Memorial Home:
Petronilla “Pat” L. Murrin (nee Artigliere), a lifelong resident of Madison, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018. She was 82.
Pat was born in Morristown on June 14, 1936 to the late John and Thomasina Artigliere. She was a telephone operator with NJ Bell in Morristown for many years before retiring. She also worked as a crossing guard in Madison for several years and as a security guard at the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany. In her retirement, Pat enjoyed reading and spending time with her 5 beloved grandchildren. She had a good heart and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas J. Murrin in 1989. She leaves behind her two loving daughters, Wanda Ackerman and her husband, Mark of Anderson, SC & Patricia Zelley and her husband, Frederick of Randolph; five cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Jillian, Jacqueline, Nicholas & Alexander.
Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison, followed by a 10 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison. Entombment will be held privately for the family. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation to celebrate Pat’s life on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
