Madison Area YMCA Offers Dynamic Lineup of Special Events
to Boost Community Health and Wellness
The Madison Area YMCA continues to lead the way in promoting health, wellness, and community engagement with a wide range of exciting programs and events designed for individuals and families of all ages and fitness levels. With a strong commitment to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y is proud to announce a series of impactful events this April.
On Sunday, March 30, the Y hosted its inaugural indoor triathlon, “MAY We Tri,” a dynamic and inclusive fitness event that brought together participants of all ages, including entire families. The triathlon featured a 10-minute lap swim in the state-of-the-art Walker D. Kirby Aquatics Center’s 8-lane pool, a 30-minute cycling session in the spin studio, and a 20-minute treadmill walk/run in the fitness center.
“This event exemplified the Madison Area YMCA’s commitment to providing accessible, fun, and goal-driven fitness opportunities for the whole community,” said Senior Aquatics Director, and MAY We Tri founder, Yean Jimenez, “We are so proud of all who participated. Thank you to Paramount MultiSport and all who volunteered at this event!”
