Madison Basket Raffle to Award Prizes and Products to Holiday Shoppers and Diners
Beginning on Small Business Saturday, holiday shoppers in Madison can collect tickets at local businesses to win the Chamber basket raffle.
The Madison Chamber of Commerce Annual Holiday Basket Raffle will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4 and Dec. 18. Shoppers will have a chance to win free merchandise and products donated by local merchants while dining out and shopping in the Rose City this holiday season.
To enter the raffle, visit a participating store in Madison and collect raffle tickets that can be used in two free basket raffle drawings. The more businesses you visit, the more chances you have to win a prize in the basket raffle.
Local shoppers can begin collecting raffle tickets on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 29. Dine at your favorite restaurants and merchants all week and then enter at a chance to win a basket full of products and merchandise on Thursday, Dec. 4. Keep collecting tickets, because the second basket raffle will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18.

“The merchants are opening their doors to everyone and welcoming the holiday season with this extra special event,” Carmen DeRosa, owner of PC Problems on 50 Main Street said. “Please come down and enjoy the festive atmosphere and see what your favorite stores have to offer.”
Baskets will be on display at Short Stories, located at 32 Main St. The winners will be chosen at 7 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 18. The winner does not have to be present in order to accept the prize.

“The businesses are very exited about having this event take place on not one, but two evenings.” Karen Meyer, Executive Director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce said. “The raffle is fun for everyone and the businesses are putting their best foot forward.”
