Madison Officials Prepare for Hurricane Joaquin
Bottle Hill Day is still on schedule. A decision on whether or not to cancel the event will happen Friday afternoon.

A State of Emergency has been issued in New Jersey as Hurricane Joaquin makes its way up the East Coast and Madison officials are making preparations for the storm.
Storm updates will be posted to the Madison Borough website as they become available.

- Mayor Conley and Councilman Landrigan convened an emergency operations meeting to prepare for the storm. Staff are making preparations for a possible heavy rain and wind event.
- Bottle Hill Day is still on schedule. A decision on whether or not to cancel the event will happen Friday afternoon.
- Currently, the garbage, recycling and yardwaste schedule remains in effect. Residents are reminded to NOT block storm drains and to not place debris, leaves or grass clippings at the curb.
