Madison Police Apprehend Suspects for Terroristic Threats, Defiant Trespass
Police have charged a 24-year-old Madison resident with making terroristic threats, and another man with trespassing at Drew University.

A 24-year-old Madison resident was arrested in November for allegedly making terroristic threats to an acquaintance via text message.
Madison Ptl. Papamarkos arrested Ismail Imam, 24, of Madison, for terroristic threats on Nov. 17 at 10:50 p.m. The arrest was made following a preliminary investigation into a report stating that Imam threatened an acquaintance through text messaging, Madison Police Lt. Cirella stated.
Bail for Imam was set by Honorable Gary Troxell at $10,000 with no option to pay 10 percent. Imam was released on bail pending his court appearance in the Morris County Superior Court.

In addition to several shoplifting, threats, and drug related arrests made during the month of November, Madison Police also responded to an incident of defiant trespass.
A 21-year-old resident was arrested the day before Imam, after being charged with defiant trespassing at Drew University.

Nicolaus Kowalczyk, 21, of Petersham, Massachusetts was arrested on Nov. 16 at 1:41 a.m. after he allegedly violated a previously issued trespass warning.
Madison Ptl. Papamarkos responded to a call at Drew University, where a public safety officer identified Kowalczyk as the individual trespassing on University property.
Kowalczyk was charged with defiant trespassing, processed and released from police custody pending his appearance in the Madison Municipal Court.
During the month of November, the Madison Police Department responded to 46 Motor Vehicle Crashes, assisted with 103 Medical Calls, responded to 48 Alarms, and responded to 24 calls to assist a citizen in this community.
