Madison Police Arrest Man for Trying to Buy Oxycodone With Phony Prescription
Madison Police charged a 51-year-old New Jersey man with attempting to use a fraudulent scrip to obtain Oxycodone at the Madison Pharmacy.

Madison Police have apprehended a 51-year-old man for attempting to use a fraudulent prescription to obtain Oxycodone pills at the Madison Pharmacy.
Shortly after 12 p.m. on Dec. 12, at 12:04 pm, Madison Sgt. John Miscia and Ptl. Papmarkos responded to the Madison Pharmacy at 66 Main Street, on a reported prescription fraud in progress. Shortly thereafter, police arrested Michael Cicchino, 51, of Harrison, at the pharmacy.
“When officers arrived a Madison Pharmacy, they identified Cicchino attempting to allegedly to fill a fraudulent prescription for Oxycodone pills,” Madison Police Lt. Joseph Cirella said.

While on scene, Sgt. Miscia identified that the script in Cicchino’s possession had been stolen. Cicchino was taken into custody by the police officers.
Cicchino was charged with Criminal Attempt to obtain a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree offense. Cicchino was also charged with Uttering a False Document. He was released pending his appearance in the Morris County Superior Court.

According to Lt. Cirella, so far this month the Madison Police Department has responded on 39 Medical calls, 26 Motor Vehicle Crashes and 48 Alarm calls.
