Madison Public Library to Temporarily Close on Monday for 'Asbestos Abatement Project'
Staff will be available in the Library's Chase Auditorium so that the public can pick up books and media delivered from other libraries.

Effect Monday, August 24, the Madison Public Library will be closed for up to ten days for an asbestos abatement project.
“Staff will be available in the Library’s Chase Auditorium so that the public can pick up books and media delivered from other libraries,” according to the Madison Borough website. “The Library’s bookdrop will remain open and staff will process the returned materials.“
The Chase Auditorium will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Madison Library card holders can use their cards at public libraries in Morris County as well as Summit, New Providence, Berkeley Heights, Bernards Township and Bernardsville.
