Madison YMCA Invites Public to 'Cycle for a Cause' Spinathon

The Cycle for a Cause Spinathon takes place Sunday, March 13.

From the Madison YMCA:

The Madison YMCA invites members of the community to its Cycle for a Cause Spinathon, happening Sunday, March 13 from 8 a.m. to noon. Proceeds raised from the event will be split 50-50 in order to help support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fund cancer research and the Madison Area YMCA’s annual fund to support Madison Area YMCA’s LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a 12-week health and wellness program for cancer survivors and their families.

The event is open to adults, and donations will be accepted. Registration is available at the Madison YMCA welcome center. Cyclists are encouraged to collect pledges. Pledge forms are available at the Madison YMCA Family Center and at the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center. The cycling instructor schedule is as follows: Karen Tom will teach 8-9 p.m. Ashlee Hodge will teach 9-10 a.m. Carey Ahsler will teach 10–11 a.m. Karen, Carey and Ashlee will teach 11 a.m. to noon.
