Memorial Day Parade Set in Madison

Madison Borough announced the parade route for the 2015 Memorial Day Parade.

The Borough of Madison invited all residents to celebrate Memorial Day on Monday, May 25.

Madison said ceremonies in celebration of Memorial Day will begin promptly at 9 a.m. at Upper James Park on Monday.

The Memorial Day Parade will step off following the ceremonies held at Upper James Park. The parade route will proceed as follows (See map above) :

  • Begin at Condurso way
  • Proceeding down Main Street to Prospect Street
  • Follow Prospect Street to Kings Road
  • Follow Kings Road to Hartley Dodge Memorial Building, located at 50 Kings Road

After arriving at the Hartley Dodge Memorial Building, there will be a solemn remembrance ceremony.

The weather is expected to be a 30 percent chance of rain on Memorial Day. Temperatures at the beginning of the weekend are expected to get off to a cool start, but should warm up by Sunday and Monday, reaching highs near 78 on Monday. However, a slight chance of rain is expected on Sunday night through the remainder of the holiday weekend.
