Milling Monday In Madison On Kings Road

Paving of Elmer Street will also impact motorists.

MADISON, NJ - Monday morning will start with minor motorist headaches as milling and paving continues on Elmer Street, Greenwood Avenue as well as Kings Road.

According to officials, paving will begin on Elmer Street, towards Greenwood Avenue at 6 a.m. Following Elmer Street, Greenwood Avenue will be paved from Main Street to Brittin Street.

During that work the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Brittin Street will remain open.

Residents in District 1A and 1B with recycling, yard waste and trash pick-up on Monday are asked to place their collections to the curb on Sunday night, as collection in these areas will occur earlier than normal.

Milling will continue on Kings Road between Green Avenue and Prospect Street. Green Avenue and Prospect Street will remain open and accessible in both directions and commuter access to the train station parking lot will be available.

Overnight parking on Kings Road between Green Avenue and Prospect Street will be suspended for Sunday.
