Morris County Native Being Honored at Drew University
Maggie Doyne, of Mendham, will be receiving a Peacebuilder Award at Drew University next month.

A Morris County woman who founded the BlinkNow Foundation will be awarded with a Peacebuilder Award at Drew University next month.
Maggie Doyne, 28, of Mendham, created the BlinkNow Foundation to serve women and children in post-civil war Nepal. She was recently named a CNN Hero and is now being honored with the Peacebuilder Award by Drew University’s Center on Religion, Culture and Conflict. Her foundation, BlinkNow, has opened a home for Nepalese orphans, a school that serves 350 students, a medical and counseling clinic and a women’s center, according to Drew University.
Following the devastating earthquake in Nepal on April 25, Doyne posted on Facebook through her BlinkNow Foundation page informing people that she and the women and children being helped by the foundation were safe in Surkhet, Nepal.
