• Madison Police Chief Takes County Leadership Role while Department Promotes Safety (tapinto.net) — Madison Police Chief John Miscia is now president of the Morris County Police Chiefs Association while the department steps up local safety outreach and volunteer recruitment. The Madison Police Auxiliary is seeking new members, and officers are visiting schools to teach e-bike safety as these devices become more common around town.
   

• Madison Welcomes New Police Officer Michael Lagravenis (tapinto.net) — Madison has added a new probationary police officer, Michael Lagravenis, who was sworn in at a recent Borough Council meeting and welcomed by Mayor Bob Conley and the community. A Morris County native and College of New Jersey graduate, Lagravenis says he’s honored to join the Madison Police Department and looks forward to serving what he calls a unified, supportive town.
   

• Cosmos Transfer Tracker: All 2026 news and rumors (hudsonriverblue.com) — A former Drew University multi-sport athlete from Madison, Tino Puentes, has signed with the revived New York Cosmos, strengthening the club’s New Jersey ties ahead of its 2026 USL League One season in Paterson.
